Junior Golfers

Families have many questions about junior golf, including the best path for their kids to play golf at a competitive level to hopefully earn a college scholarship. Coach Desimone is available for consultations to evaluate your child as a young student-athlete and help him or her on a path to success both on the course and in the classroom.

Coaches

Desimone has over 45 years of coaching experience at the youth, high school, and college level. In addition to his 37 years at Cal, he was the Athletic Director, Basketball Coach and Soccer Coach at the College Preparatory School in Oakland, CA, and also coached his son’s youth basketball team. Coaching consultations are available to tap into his extensive experience that can provide insight and advice for coaches of all levels.

Golf Industry

Desimone’s career at Cal spanned the globe, traveling from the US, to Europe, Singapore, Japan and more. His experience in and around the golf industry, including connections all over the world can help those seeking opportunities in the world of golf.

Fundraising

For the past 40 years Desimone has led the Cal Golf Committee in fundraising efforts to fully support the Men’s Golf Program. From annual campaigns to large seven-figure gifts, Desimone has become an industry leader in fundraising and can help advise your organization with fundraising efforts.
